They are used for Diaphyseal Noncomminuted and Diaphysis Wedge fractures of both Hand and Foot Phalanges, Metacarpals and Metatarsals fractures and nonunion of the Clavicle, Scapula, Olecranon, Humerus, Radius, Ulna, Pelvis, Distal tibia, and Fibula. The oval shape hole is designed to create dynamic pressure between the fractured bone fragments. They are applied with 1.5 and 2.0 mm, 2.7 mm, 3.5mm cortical screws and 4.0 mm cancellous screws.
